How can you make your candles last longer?

1. Trim the wick: Before lighting your candle, make sure to trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. A longer wick can cause the candle to burn too quickly and produce excess soot.

4. Use a candle snuffer or Dipper: Instead of blowing out your candles, use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Blowing out a candle can cause the wick to smolder and produce excess smoke which can overpower the scent of your candle.  

5. Store properly: When not in use, store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Exposure to heat and sunlight can cause the wax to soften or discolor.

6. Use a candle plate: This will protect your surfaces from heat damage.  You can also use your candle's lid if it comes with one.
